Our group is interested on understanding lipid diversity and uncovering new lipid functions in cell biology with a focus on membrane trafficking events.
We are studying how lipid metabolism is orchestrated during conditions in which collagen secretion is dysregulated towards the development of metabolic strategies that can help improving collagen homeostasis.
In collaboration with the group of Dr. Unai Silvan (BCMaterials) we are investigating the crosstalk between mechanosensitive pathways and lipid metabolism.
